Kaiser Associates Corporate Strategy Practice was established in 1981 in the United States. During the 1990s, Kaiser expanded into new geographical markets, including Europe, South America, and Africa. After the South African office opened in 1997, Kaiser wanted to help address some of the socio-economic needs in Africa. As a result we established a dedicated economic development consultancy (Kaiser EDP).
Kaiser Economic Development Partners has built a strong reputation for delivering projects that help realise Africa’s key economic development goals, including creating jobs, reducing poverty, and building sustainable businesses. We offer research, strategy, advisory, and implementation support services.
Kaiser EDP provides these services to clients such as government departments, international development organisations, development agencies, and multi-stakeholder structures.
Areas of expertise include local procurement, design and innovation, spatial economic development, value chain/sector development, trade analysis and strategy, and renewable energy.
